The inability for you to become pregnant can also be do to these intense feelings and counseling could help you process your feelings sometimes helping the fertility process naturally. I offer Mind/Body Program for Infertility which teaches you relaxation strategies, stress management skills, and offers support. Research shows that the level of distress may impact the success of treatment. Women who are anxious and depressed prior to treatment are 93% less likely to conceive than the least distressed woman. Change lifestyle habits which can have a negative impact on fertility. Learn cognitive restructuring, self-nurturing skills, along with numerous relaxation strategies and stress management skills. It is essential that your recovery from Bipolar Disorder include medication management from a psychiatrist. Therapy will help you learn to cope with problems it has caused in your life, repair your relationships, manage stress and regulate your mood. Please call me if you have questions as to whether I take your insurance since insurance company coverage can change. You can also call your insurance company and ask if I am in-network.
I am out-of-network provider for most other insurance companies. Please call your insurance company and ask them if they will reimburse for out-patient counseling with an out-of-network provider (sometimes this is cheaper than your regular co-payment for in-network coverage). They may ask for a procedure code, a diagnosis code and whether or not I am licensed. If this is the option you choose, I will provide a receipt for your session, which you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. In these cases it is the client's responsibility to pay for the session at the time of service, and to contact their insurance company to assess the level and conditions of coverage, as individual plans vary. Checks and cash are accepted.
Since scheduling of an appointment involves the reservation of time specifically for you, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required for reschedualing or canceling an appointment. I do charge a $65 cancellation fee for missed appointments which is due along with your copayment at your next session. Please be respectful of your scheduled appointment.
